And so life goes on…

Well my time is up in my hometown, and I have now made the first step in my move just west of there. It’s just a short drive from Welland – about an hour away – so I will be able to get back and visit my family and friends often. But the time is now for the next chapter in my life. I must say, I have had so many chapters in this life of mine, I can honestly say I get excited every time I turn the page.

This next chapter involves me becoming a grandmother (and my daughter becoming a first time mom). I am excited for her and for me! We know she is having a boy and this grandma has bought far too much for a baby that hasn’t even arrived yet! It’s going to be great!!

The other part of this chapter is a new career. I have several ideas of where I want to go and what I want to do, with many things coming to mind. One big thing I want to do, when it’s safe to do so, is to get back into some sort of catering business like I had in Alberta. I loved doing that, and cooking and baking always brings me so much joy. That’s just part of the things I want to do. So much I want to do, so little time to do it all in!

And so, life goes on. There will be ups and downs, and I am prepared for both. To be successful in life, you must realize that not everything will go perfectly, and that is perfectly okay with me. I am ready to accept any challenges that this new chapter brings my way!
