Getting fit with my FitBit

As a thank you from my daughter for me moving out here to help her and my grandson, she got me a FitBit.

I was hesitant at first about having one – I had one many years ago and didn’t really think it was of much use, but the one she got me is fantastic! It keeps track of my steps – and i’ve been averaging over 12,000 steps a day (thanks to daily walks with my grandson!), it keeps track of my bpm, as well as my sleep cycle. I do not get much more than 5 1/2 hours of sleep a night, but that’s due to hot flashes and night sweats. Menopause sucks!

I have to say – now that I’ve been using it, I have it on all the time. And all the pretty colours delight my grandson – he thinks it’s something he needs to taste haha.

Now if only it would control my eating at night….
