When I was a child, I loved watching all the Christmas shows that would come on. Frosty the Snowman was my favourite, but I also liked Rudolph and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. There were a few others at the time (the 70s) but these stood out as my favourites.
As I got older, more movies came out that you could go to the theatre and see. Scrooged was a great one – with Bill Murray. And there was one that I still question if it’s really a Christmas movie or not – Die Hard. This is a big debate with people – is it or isn’t it? Just because it was set during a Christmas party – does it really make it a Christmas movie? I still say no. But that’s just my opinion.
Each year brings new Christmas movies. I like to stick with my favourite ones. Planes, Trains and Automobiles. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. White Christmas. It’s a Wonderful Life. You really can’t beat the classic movies.
What is your favourite Christmas movie?

Has to be It’s a Wonderful Life…but Elf for some good laughs 🙂

I like Elf too. When he gets hit by the cab makes me laugh every time.
