A beautiful Thursday morning today, and what better way to start the day is with a coffee and a BLT! Wishing you all a very happy day.
So today’s thought is more of a friendly reminder to me, and anyone else who has this happen – if you are working an early shift do NOT drink coffee at 7pm. It WILL keep you awake! It was an awfully long 5 hour shift today, on only 3 hours of sleep. I took a nice long 2 hour nap when I got home, so am feeling MUCH better now!
When you wake up, what is your first thought? Is it – wow I’m so grateful to wake up and I know today is going to be a great day!? Or is it – ugh another day I have to go to work/do something I don’t like. Of course, every day I am sure we have things we don’t want to do or dread doing them (I can name about 5 of mine right off the top of my head) – but I know that there are many other things that I get to do that I enjoy – blogging is one of my favourite things and even if it’s just my Daily Thought, it makes me feel good that I get up and get to do that. I always look at the positive things, and today is no different. So remember, there is always something that can make you appreciate your day – even if it’s just a coffee and a smile from someone you love. Have a great day!
Take some time every morning to sit back, enjoy a beverage (coffee is my choice), and breathe in the new day. My favourite place for my morning coffee is on the balcony, enjoying the sounds of the birds chirping, the sounds of people talking and even the traffic. To me, it means everyone is up, and getting their day started too. Enjoy your day!
