Daily Thought – October 4

Sunday was traditionally a day of rest. A day we would go to church and worship, then spend the day with the family, having a nice dinner in the evening, and maybe have a game night or watch something fun on TV. Where have those traditions gone? It seems to be a lost tradition. Perhaps it’s time we got back to family time, and being together with our families, with no electronics, have a nice dinner together at home (homemade is great, but really anything goes for dinner – pizza, takeout, etc.), and just being together. Maybe if we did that, there would be less violence and more kindness. Something to think about on this Sunday afternoon.
